SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The San Diego California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was rededicated on Sunday, April 30, 2024, following a period of extensive renovations. President D. Todd Christofferson, second counselor in the First Presidency, officiated at the rededication ceremony.
The temple, first dedicated in 1993 by President Gordon B. Hinckley, has undergone significant upgrades. During the rededication, President Christofferson highlighted the temple’s significance, referring to it as a “visible, tangible testimony” of Jesus Christ.
