SALT LAKE CITY – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the appointment of a new Primary general presidency, effective August 1, 2026.

The new leadership, headed by President Rosemary K. Chibota, along with her counselors Sister Nina M. Garfield and Sister Theresa A. Collins, was sustained in their callings during the April 2026 general conference held in Salt Lake City. The transition marks the beginning of their service in leading the Church’s global organization for children.
