Reisman Eye Institute offers everything from routine eye exams to laser cataract surgery under one roof and is now accepting new patients.

DELRAY BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Dr. Jeffrey M. Reisman, a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea and refractive surgeon, has opened Reisman Eye Institute at 16244 S Military Trail, Suite 690, in Delray Beach. The practice is now welcoming new patients from Palm Beach County, with appointments starting September 4.

Reisman Eye Institute is designed as a single destination for a patient’s entire eye care journey, from a first comprehensive exam through advanced surgery. Services include comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings, an on-site optical boutique, medical eye care for dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration, cornea care and procedures, custom blade-free LASIK, PRK, EVO ICL, refractive lens exchange, and laser cataract surgery with premium intraocular lens options. Amanda Koffman, O.D., provides comprehensive optometric care alongside Dr. Reisman.

“I am best known for excellent surgical outcomes that are individualized for each patient, expert diagnostic care, and great LASIK results,” said Dr. Reisman.

Dr. Reisman brings 30 years of ophthalmology experience to South Florida. Since 1996, he has performed over 15,000 laser vision correction procedures and about 35,000 procedures in total. He has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1996 and completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas after his residency at UMDNJ/New Jersey Medical College. He earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University, a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.

He is recognized for his work in LASIK, cataract surgery, and refractive lens exchange. Dr. Reisman is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been named a “Top Ophthalmologist” and included in the Guide to America’s Top Ophthalmologists.

The new Delray Beach office is equipped with the technology that supports that range of care, including laser cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens options, and the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), an implant whose power can be fine-tuned after cataract surgery to refine a patient’s vision. For patients seeking freedom from glasses and contacts, the practice offers custom blade-free LASIK as well as EVO ICL, an implantable collamer lens option for people who are not ideal LASIK candidates.

This wide range of services is based on a simple idea: vision needs change as people age, and patients should not have to switch practices to keep up. Whether you are in your 20s or 30s and considering laser vision correction, in your 40s or 50s and dealing with reading glasses, or managing cataracts or another eye condition, you can be cared for by the same team in one office.

Reisman Eye Institute welcomes patients from Palm Beach County and nearby South Florida communities. To schedule an appointment, call (561) 925-8080 or visit www.delraycataractandlasik.com for more information about the practice, its providers, and procedures.
