Beckfield College Achieves 91.67% First-Time MBLEx Pass Rate

Beckfield College’s Medical Massage Therapy program in Florence, KY outpaces state and national first-time MBLEx pass rates for 2025-2026.

FLORENCE, KY, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — FLORENCE, Ky., Sept. 1, 2026 — Beckfield College’s Medical Massage Therapy program achieved a 91.67% first-time pass rate on the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), according to a School MBLEx Performance Report from the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) covering July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
Of the 12 Beckfield College–Florence candidates taking the MBLEx for the first time during the reporting period, 11 passed the examination.
Beckfield’s 91.67% first-time pass rate exceeded both the Kentucky rate of 80.77% and the national rate of 72.03% reported for the same period. The College’s rate was 10.90 percentage points above Kentucky and 19.64 percentage points above the national first-time pass rate.
“These results reflect the strength of our academic programs, the expertise of our faculty, and the intentional leadership that supports student success at every stage of the educational journey,” said Dr. Diana Lawrence, president of Beckfield College. “A 91.67% first-time pass rate is a significant achievement, but it is also a testament to the faculty members who guide, mentor, and challenge our students to meet the highest professional standards as they prepare to enter the workforce.”
The latest result builds on Beckfield’s 2025 first-time MBLEx pass rate of 77.7%, which was 7.7 percentage points above the reported national rate of 70.0%. From the 2025 result to the latest reporting period, Beckfield’s first-time pass rate increased 13.97 percentage points, reaching 91.67%.

The MBLEx is administered by FSMTB and is used by regulated jurisdictions as part of the massage therapy licensing process. Passing the examination does not itself confer a license; candidates must also meet the licensing requirements of the jurisdiction in which they intend to practice.
Beckfield College’s Medical Massage Therapy diploma program combines classroom instruction and hands-on education in areas including anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, therapeutic massage techniques, client assessment, professional practice and supervised clinical experience.
