Vanderbilt & Seewald Global Studio, a designer growth and commerce platform, will present its inaugural fashion showcase, “Makers, Moguls, and Muses,” during New York Fashion Week on September 15 in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal, the landmark built by the Vanderbilt family more than a century ago.
Co-founded by Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin and Michaela Seewald, the studio will present three international designers, Dustin Glickman, Lorena Saravia, and Nabil Hayari, a first-of-its-kind Click-To-Buy runway shopping and interactive AI hologram experience from AEXA Technology. Supported by sponsors BONJIL and Riverside Cruises, the show will pay tribute to members of the U.S. military, FDNY, and NYPD in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. Featuring 45 models, the show will be held before an audience of approximately 300 fashion industry leaders, investors, buyers, media and VIP guests.
Actor and Access Hollywood host Mario Lopez will serve as emcee. The show will open with a Color Guard presentation of the American flag, followed by a performance of the national anthem from singer, actress, and performer Leslie Ann Lopez. The 25 service members of the U.S. Army, Navy SEALs, FDNY, and NYPD will be seated as guests of honor for the opening tribute, marking the studio’s commitment to celebrating America’s 250th anniversary through the lens of creativity, craftsmanship, and service.
Vanderbilt & Seewald Global Studio enables designers to scale without sacrificing their creative identity by combining strategic capital, commercial infrastructure, innovation, and hands-on creative support when strategic growth opportunities arise.
“Makers, Moguls, and Muses” is also the first live demonstration of V&S Global Studio’s proprietary Click-To-Buy technology, providing in-person attendees and virtual viewers to purchase looks directly from the runway in real time. Additionally, the event is the runway premier of AEXA Technology’s interactive AI holograms, featuring Vanderbilt women of historical significance sharing their stories and insights.

The Designers
Dustin Glickman leads DSTN, a Stockholm-based label known for a dark cowboy aesthetic that pairs artistic storytelling with technical craftsmanship. DSTN headlined Stockholm Fashion Week earlier this year, and the September 15 show marks its New York runway debut.
Lorena Saravia is one of Mexico’s most influential contemporary designers, recognized for translating Mexican craftsmanship and modern luxury into a globally recognized brand, with a track record that includes a collaboration with H&M. Nabil Hayari leads Hayari Paris, an internationally recognized couture house whose made-to-measure designs have appeared on red carpets worldwide, earning Hayari a standing as a leading voice in modern French couture. Hayari will present work in collaboration with visual artist and photographer Karen Bystedt, who is well regarded for her work and unique intellectual property featuring Andy Warhol.
