Dutch Pet, the leading veterinary telemedicine provider, today announced that it has been ranked No. 120 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, Inc.’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The recognition reflects the company’s continued momentum as it works to expand access to veterinary care for pet parents across the country.
In addition to its No. 120 overall ranking, Dutch was recognized across several key categories:
- No. 9 in the San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, CA metro area
- No. 16 in Healthcare and Medical
- No. 22 in California
The rankings come as Dutch continues to scale its 24/7 virtual veterinary care platform, which connects pet parents with licensed veterinarians through video and chat consultations, with access to treatment plans and prescription medications when clinically appropriate. By bringing veterinary expertise into the home, Dutch addresses the barriers that keep pets from getting seen: cost, convenience, and limited availability of veterinary services in many communities, with more than 30% of Americans living in what Dutch defines as a “vet desert.”
“Dutch was built around a simple idea: getting veterinary care shouldn’t be harder than getting care for yourself,” said Joe Spector, Co-Founder and CEO of Dutch. “Being recognized among the fastest-growing private companies in the country is a meaningful validation of the need we’re seeing from pet parents for a more accessible, convenient way to care for their animals. We’re proud of how far the team has come and even more excited about what’s ahead.”
The Inc. 5000 recognition adds to a period of significant momentum for Dutch, which has sustained significant growth as demand for accessible veterinary care continues to rise. The company has achieved two consecutive years of doubling revenue, and is now growing approximately 20% month over month as demand for accessible veterinary care continues to accelerate.
Inc. 5000 List Methodology:
Companies on the 2026 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2022 to 2025. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2025. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2022 is $100,000; the minimum for 2025 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
About Dutch:
Launched in July 2021, Dutch is the first and only veterinary telehealth company connecting licensed, independent veterinarians directly with pets and their parents nationwide. At its inception, Dutch primarily addressed common chronic ailments, such as anxiety and allergies. Now with 3.7M+ telehealth vet interactions since launching, it has expanded to treat more than 150 conditions. In 2022, Dutch introduced Rx services, which allow the company’s licensed veterinarians to prescribe and ship OTC and prescription medications to patients across the U.S. Dutch memberships begin at just $11/month, and include unlimited access to virtual veterinary care through video and chat models. In a country experiencing a critical vet shortage of just one veterinarian for every 1,250 cats and dogs, Dutch is creating a more accessible means of dependable, quality vet care that can address the modern pet parent’s needs in a timely manner and at a fraction of the cost.
