WINTER PARK, FL, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Modern Widows Club® | The Movement for Widow Care (MWC, a national nonprofit supporting and empowering widows, announced today it has received a $15,000 total grants from The Russell Berrie Foundation, a philanthropic organization based in Teaneck, New Jersey, dedicated to identifying visionaries and unsung heroes doing groundbreaking work.

The grant will be used to guide widowed women through its signature Hope • Heal • Grow • Lead® healthy widowhood framework, supporting them as they move from grief into personal growth, renewed purpose, leadership, and advocacy.

MWC is also honored to announce that Angelica Berrie, President of The Russell Berrie Foundation, will receive the organization’s 2026 Leadership Award at its Legacy & Leadership Awards Dinner, taking place October 20, 2026 at Liberty House in Jersey City, New Jersey. Berrie is recognized nationally for her decades of philanthropic leadership, including her work advancing diabetes research, interfaith understanding, and community resilience throughout New Jersey and Israel.
