Voice actor behind campaigns for Marvel, Netflix, Amazon, ESPN also wins Best Movie or Video Game Trailer and Best E-Learning Narration Performance
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Acclaimed voice actor Matthew “Slim da Reazon” Parham has been named 2026 Male Voice Actor of the Year, adding two additional honors for Best Movie or Video Game Trailer and Best E-Learning Narration Performance at the 2026 One Voice Awards, held Saturday, August 22, 2026, as part of the One Voice Conference, the only international voice acting conference.
The One Voice Awards received more than 5,000 submissions from voice actors and performers, making Parham’s three wins a significant achievement within the global voiceover industry.
“To every person who looks like me, who wonders if they have a place in this industry, know that if I can do it, you can do it. I do it for the culture.”said Matthew Parham.
The 2026 Male Voice Actor of the Year award recognizes an actor’s full body of work over the course of the year. Parham’s winning submission showcased his versatility across commercial, promotional, video game, dubbing, and narrative projects, including:
• ESPN/ABC promotional campaign for the 2025 US Open
• Amazon Lens television commercial
• Off The Grid video game trailer, voicing the character Blitz, produced by Gunzilla Games
• Love is Blind: France (Netflix), English-language dub voice of Jonathan
• Rivers of Fate (Netflix), English-language dub voice of Philippe
Parham also earned the Best Movie or Video Game Trailer award for “Off The Grid – The Comeback,” the trailer for Gunzilla Games’ video game Off The Grid.
His third award, Best E-Learning Narration Performance, recognized his work on “Benjamin Banneker – Revolutionary Scientist & Abolitionist,” produced by The Woodson Center. Parham was additionally nominated for Best Promo Demo and Best Character Performance, the latter for his portrayal of Captain America/Sam Wilson in Marvel HQ’s Super Heroes vs. Villains.
A Year of Recognition On and Off the Microphone
The One Voice Awards wins build on an already notable year for Parham. In March 2026, at VO Atlanta, the largest and preeminent voiceover conference in the United States, Parham received the exclusive 2026 Industry Champion Award. The honor recognized his outstanding advocacy and leadership as Director of Operations for the National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA), as well as his ongoing diversity initiatives within the voiceover industry.
Together, the honors recognize both sides of Parham’s career: his accomplishments behind the microphone and his commitment to advancing the voiceover profession for the broader creative community. With credits spanning major entertainment, advertising, gaming, streaming, sports, e-learning, and character performance, Parham has established himself as a versatile performer capable of moving seamlessly between dramatically different vocal styles and mediums.
Parham is available for media interviews related to his recent awards, career, and work in the voiceover industry.
