NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Gary Hall, co-president of Siebert Williams Shank & Co. (SWS), the nation’s largest woman- and minority-owned, non-bank financial firm, has been selected into the fifth class of the Bond Buyer Hall of Fame, joining a select group of U.S. finance industry leaders that will be recognized with the distinction.
The Bond Buyer’s newest Muni Hall of Famers will be inducted at an awards gala in Chicago on September 15, 2026.
Hall joined SWS in 2013 as National Head of Public Finance Banking, then he was elevated in 2023 to President of Public Finance & Infrastructure. In 2025, he was promoted to Co-President of the firm.

Prior to SWS, Hall was an investment banker with JPMorgan Securities LLC, where he assisted state and local governments with accessing capital markets for close to $50 billion of senior-managed municipal bonds issuances, credit facilities and transactions.
Hall has also served on the Board of the Securities Industry and Financial Marketing Association (SIFMA), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s (FINRA) Fixed Income Advisory Committee, Milken Institute Public Finance Advisory Board, and the Corporate Affiliate Board of the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST). He is the former Chairman of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB), the self-regulatory organization that safeguards the $4 trillion municipal securities industry.
Prior to his career in investment banking, Hall was appointed a White House Fellowship by President William Clinton to work as a Special Advisor to the Under Secretary of the Treasury for Domestic Finance in the U.S. Department of Treasury. Hall received a B.B.A. in Finance from Howard University and J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.
