Aurora, IL – October 13, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –

Andersen Plumbing, Heating and AC Repair, a service provider based in Aurora, Illinois, has drawn renewed attention to its “Bringing Comfort for Our Heroes” Veteran Nomination program, an initiative that provides free home comfort services to local military veterans facing hardship.

Through the program, members of the community can nominate veterans who may benefit from assistance with plumbing, heating, cooling, or HVAC needs. Nominations are reviewed monthly by Andersen’s team, with selections based on each veteran’s individual circumstances and the urgency of their home comfort needs.

The program reflects a broader focus on Giving Back to the community that the company has maintained as part of its operations in the Aurora area. By directing resources toward veterans who have served, Andersen Plumbing, Heating and AC Repair aims to extend home comfort to households that might otherwise struggle to secure needed repairs or installations.

“Veterans in this community have given a great deal, and the Bringing Comfort for Our Heroes program is one way to recognize that service in a practical way,” said Mario Sparto, spokesperson for Andersen Plumbing, Heating and AC Repair. “Each month, nominations are reviewed with care, and the goal is to make sure that a selected veteran facing hardship can rely on a home that stays comfortable and functional.”

The nomination process is designed to be accessible to friends, family members, and neighbors who are aware of a veteran in need. Once a nomination is submitted, Andersen’s team evaluates it based on the veteran’s specific needs and the urgency of the situation. Depending on the results of the review, a veteran may be selected to receive plumbing, heating, cooling, or HVAC assistance at no cost, based on the services needed.

Andersen Plumbing, Heating and AC Repair offers a range of services across plumbing, heating, cooling, and indoor air quality. The company also provides around-the-clock emergency service for customers in its service areas, along with a membership plan for regular maintenance needs.

“Home comfort is something many people take for granted until a system fails,” Sparto said. “The program allows the company to apply its expertise where it can make a meaningful difference, and the response from the community has underscored how much local support exists for veterans.”

The Veteran Nomination program sits alongside other community-focused efforts the company maintains, reinforcing a connection between the services it delivers and the neighborhoods it serves. Residents who wish to learn more about nominating a veteran, or who want to Contact Us regarding the program, can find further information through the company’s dedicated veteran nominations page.
